I was born in the charming town of Kościerzyna, Poland, and my journey since then has been an adventure through cities and countries. At 19, I moved to Gdańsk for my studies, a decision that not only shaped my academic and professional path but also gave me a deep connection to the city. I spent nearly 18 years living in Trojmiasto (Tricity) where I earned my Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Gdańsk in 2009.
Now, I call Zurich, Switzerland, home, where I live with my family. I’m the proud father of three wonderful daughters and the lucky husband to my beautiful wife. Together, we’ve built a life full of joy, adventure, and discovery.
Professional Career:
I have the soul of an engineer and always strive to stay close to technical matters. While my professional career has focused on IT project management, I still engage in hobby projects related to design and programming, which allows me to develop my engineering skills.
I’ve been working in the IT industry since 2004, gaining experience in managing projects related to infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and software development, implementing modern cloud solutions and web applications. It’s hard for me to decide which of these fields fascinates me more – infrastructure or programming – as both bring me great satisfaction.
Passions and Adventures:
Outside of work, life is an exciting mix of passions that keep me energized and inspired. I enjoy staying active, whether through running, cycling, or exploring new challenges that push me to exceed my limits. One of my goals is to cross the ocean as a certified skipper, a challenge I plan to take on before I turn 50.
But my passions go beyond physical activities. I have a deep connection to creativity and art, which are central to my life. Whether it’s through exploring new forms of expression or engaging in projects that spark my imagination, I find joy in creating and discovering beauty in unexpected places.
